Re: New Camaro Stocker

Hmm...does that thing have a Ford 9" rear end? If it's got an aluminum carrier, will that make that legal in a 69 Camaro for Stock?

I like the idea of a 1957 Pontiac housing and an aluminum 12 bolt drop out center section..........

Still won't be able to use it, Bob.
What comes in factory ringers, stays in factory ringers...

In your dreams, Pontiac broke more than the bolt in 1960's Chevy style! It is a 1957 FORD style unit.

Should be available with a 5-speed manual, as well. Nothing set in stone yet, but I see a possible naturally-aspirated 427, as well. No word on the intake, so who knows what the final release will have.

Re: New Camaro Stocker

GM cant build them in house like FORD did with the Mustangs . If they are built they have to be built by a second party , cost expected to be 175k . If they could built in house cost is 130k . Thats what the hold up is were are they going to be built .

Submit your name on the web site and they will call you if the think you are serious .

175k is a big number , then you will spend other 30k working on it

I hope they put the 427 in the guide at about 350hp for GT classes. it will be bad *****
