I have had issues with those soft washers twice resulting in the lug nuts loosing there torque and backing off, Thankfuly I had the longs studs or i would have lost a wheel. I have had other racers see it in the staging lanes both times and tell me I had a wheel about to fall off....
I have since bought a set of centerlines lug nut's and they come with hard chrome washers, no problems since.

I run the MW titanium drive studs. I couldn't find them in their catalog but I have MW aluminum lug nuts with an encapsulated torrington bearing on the back side. This keeps the lug nut from galling the washer and the washer from galling the wheel. The aluminum lug nut is black anodized and the bearing is natural color. There is something like that shown in the pictures but the description doesn't mention anything about bearings. Call MW and they should be able to give you the p/n.

The drive studs are the ultimate way to fly but I'm trying to avoid having to replace or rework my axle flanges. They only have 1/2" threads.

Keep a close watch on the 1/2" studs for bending. Mine bent and so I went to 5/8 as wrecking the car or trashing a quarter panel would ruin my day. McMaster.com has hardened washers and "spacers". I also blasted (70 grit aluminum oxide) both sides of the brake drums, the axle flanges, and the inside of the wheel hub area.
