By the way...haven't heard about him. Has Big Daddy got his DP Challenger dialed in yet?

FYI - I just read in Car & Driver that Dodge has a prototype 600 HP V-10 Challenger roaming the streets of Michigan. Has a cool looking shaker style hood on it also!

Rumor has it, they are applying for the car to be in the NHRA classification guide, along with a lower compression 6.4l car.

How do you get owner Grade Points for running Pro Stock ? Does Pro Stock get grade points? Does Pro stock run Div Races ?

Roy was an NHRA National event winner in the past (Stone age) driving a C/EA. Isnt there something in the rules about past event winners being allowed to run?

I thought that was only good fo the event you won the year after you won it.

It don't really matter. It is NHRA's play ground and the can do any thing they want. If people did not like how they do things they wouldn't race with them. They have plenty of people show up so it must all be fine.

Don't they fit D,E or F? Bernie, maybe it would be in your best interest if they didn't get hit. Might fit in C with you buddy! Bugger!

When it gets in 'C", I'm gonna paint one orange and I'll be back. I think it takes one 3.25% hit to do that.

Im so very glad hes "out in the wild" Mandie and I were fortunate enough to meet him and spend some time with him at Vegas, I like him, hes a sharp cat.

At vegas when I asked him when hed be ready he said he had no idea, it was "laying on the floor in pieces" not that they dont have a lot bigger fish to fry.

But from experience, that was blistering out of the box as it were. He told us some of the things they had found and were doing and I can say well, they were things we had to "learn" at the expense of some new scrap metal. Obviously experience has its benefits.

One of the neatest things was when he and Dale Aldo came over to the row we had parked, and they said "Fire it up and drive it over" to the Mopar Trailer, I said, I dono, battery is low....."Ah come on !" When I fired it up both got a real big real wide grin and nodded too each other.

And I dug him, he seemed like a wily charachter :D I dont know if Id want to play poker with him :D

But as of tommorow "Vacation" is over for us at NHR, our breather is complete and well....Time to "go for it"

Never any better time like now.. Weve got to get some seat time and blister some records :eek::rolleyes:;) No doubt Roys car can already run with or outrun ours. We were fastest, for a second though...lol even if it was a DQ.....That Ill always have being the first to get a 5.7 to the Track, next is to make it the most reliable...lol

The car is a Natural E, so D, E and F.....

3370 for F lol as we found out the hard way......

But the old mans 60's are a full tenth better than mine at weight, so looks like he gets the Jockey seat until I can get my times down.
