$10.00 and that really hurt me to pay up this morning......I hate losing to the ....METS !!!!!! I get a second chance soon as they play again.....we go double next time.....hopefully I have enough left for a six pak......Heineken Lights...

Me and a young co-worker trade $$$$ bills during baseball season and then a little football in the fall...

P.S. I just turned down a ticket and a trip to Yankee Stadium on Memorial Day.......gotta do the Maple Grove race over the weekend.....might be broke and too tired to make the trek.....

Robert,

Not knowing where you live and if it makes a difference ... Both Bud Rowe & Jim Reid have very fast running 305 ci cars out there.
Reid's , is in eastern Mass. and Bud is in eastern NC.... Both are very good to deal with and also race their own cars.... You can't go wrong with either one of them ....

Question? What should it cost for a good set of 305 chevy stocker`s heads? One of the named builder on here priced a set for me $5,200.00. I think their is big different between $5,200.00 and $1,800.00 that i paid Jim Lewis. Tom

This is a great thread. I'm currently researching cylinder head specialist for a set of 305 416 castings. I've been quoted $1,250 plus parts and castings.

If they know what to do, thats a deal... means they are free labor, free castings, covering parts with moderate markup.
let me know how that works out

Re: Best person to work stocker heads?

Bub, maybe I read that different. It looked like $1250 for labor, a separate charge for parts, and a charge for a pair of castings.
