I just checked the tires on my truck. Load range E 2550 @ 80 lbs cold. I know there are heavier load range tires available. All of the trucks that I have had came with load range E tires on them. Just match the tire rating to the weight you are hauling or you are asking for big trouble. At least with a dually if you hit something in the road and blow a tire on the rear there is another one to hold the weight while you are stopping. A single wheel truck you will go down on the rim. That would not be pretty.
