Can't say for sure but that looks like Wayne "Stoney" Burke. If it is, then that's one of only two Cudas that made it to Ontario Canada

A few photos of Ken Montgomery's "BO29 code" Hemi Barracuda, which was last raced in A/Modified Production sometime 1973 or 1974.

The Barracuda was on display this last Friday & Saturday near York Springs, Pennsylvania - July 7-8, 2017

Judy Lilly in the Denver Plymouth Dealer“s Barracuda.
Perhaps the first of many paint scheme her Barracuda was dressed in?
From the summer of 1968.
Now, did she loose a Barracuda in a fire or something, or is this just a bad dream I had?...

This car showed up at my home area track recently. Does anybody know if this is a real BO29 Barracuda? I suspect not. Thanks for any info!

I will try to consolidate information from two sources to help piece together a history of this MoTech Hemi Barracuda. I spoke with Percy Johns about five or six years ago. I just spoke with Jimmy Daniels about a half hour ago.

Percy Johns told me that this Hemi Barracuda is not an original "BO29 code" Barracuda. It started out as a body-in-white and hit the drag strip sometime in 1970. He indicated that there was another John Tedder MoTech Barracuda that probably was an original Hemi car, but his was not.

Jimmy Daniels told me that his Dad purchased this car sometime 2002 from George Fitzpatrick and ran it till 2006 when he sold it to Percy Johns. That sale occurred before the red Hemi Dart was purchased from Ray Barton in late 2006.

I saw the car at Maple Grove and took these photos on Sunday June 26, 2011. The car was entered in a Nostalgia Super stock class and had an elapsed time of 9.10 in shoe polish on the windshield.

Saw that car run a lot. I was also a big fan of Don & JoAnn Grotheer. They had a beautiful pearl white Hemi Cuda.

Ed,

I think this was the first of a few paint jobs the car had.

I would sure like to see Don, I understand he is doing well.

Hello! My first post on this thread might as well be worth something. A long time ago, 1978 to be exact, I attended the races at my local drag strip in Pennfield, New Brunswick, Canada. At that time, Norm Carson was running a Super Stock Hemi Barracuda that was the most outstanding car at the track.
It obviously impressed me so much that here it is, forty years later and I'm building my own version of that car in my garage.
I've also taken a keen interest in the history of the B0 cars, and in particular the timeline of this Hemi Barracuda.
And so it goes, the car was originally sold to Jim Wick and called the "Matchmaker", sponsored by Packer Plymouth.
After Wick, it made its way to Paul Rossi, then on to Norm Carson.
From Carson to George Weibe, the John Mountjoy, the finally to Danny Smith.
For those of you on Facebook, I have a significant album of photos I've amassed of this car's history, which can be found here:

Mopar68, you are inferring that this Checkmate C/Gas Barracuda is the same car that Jim Wick campaigned?

No, not at all. I'm merely pointing out that John Archambault's car is running in C/Gas class (he normally competed in B/Modified Production) and his car is running fuel injectors vs. his normal tunnel ram/Holley carburetor set-up.
