X2 congrats guys

Jeff Ruined it? Really?

That combo went 1.21 under? Its all tapped out? What now you have to use the laptop to dial in 100% throttle? Cant run 1 second under at 150 heavy? Have to take the power steering off? I doubt its completly ruined. Just a bit harder to run 1.25 under

Well it is 10:00 and nobody has gone down the track yet and it has not rained a drop and was not foggy! Unless this track gets some equipment that can get the track ready after it has rained and some equipment to get oildowns cleaned up, you might as well plan on being here late or extra days! Also you need to bring your own fuel. We went up to buy some of their expensive fuel this morning and nobody was there to sell it. And then after someone showed up, he had to do an inventory before he could start selling any. By this time, there were about 10 people there wanting to buy fuel. After all this IS race day! So anyway!

I contemplated a while before commenting – but I thought since we have one of the V10s I should – we can run that fast with a 2spd – we ran 9:12 in Bakersfield at BB weight a month ago with our Arrow Racing engine

That said we had already decide to run AA - even with the new 21 HP - we can not get to the minimum weight in AA - the new BB weight will be 3663 – I doubt you or we can run as fast with 140 more lbs in BB

As I suspected – from what I am seeing - I do not think we need to try the 3spd just yet

Congrats on the record but I bet the CJs are not going to allow a Dodge to keep it for very long

How far under the index does one of those cars need to go to not be "ruined"? So, they can no longer run under the index? People like to keep repeating "It's only a bracket race, what does it matter?" Until it's you, right? LOL

We won first round thanks to Mr. Brooks red-lighting! Thanks Eddie! Looks like it will be 3 or 4 hours before we run again. Top Sportsman get a qualifying run today since they missed one yesterday. Then they run 2 rounds of Comp, Top Dragster and Top Sportsmen before they get back to all us common folk!

Getting a very different vibe from the posts at Belle Rose this year.
Doesn't seem to be as upbeat as years past.
Am I wrong ?
That said have a safe race guys!
Dan.

Who won between Arts neon and Daniels dart over 4.5 seconds defference? Does Pat have anything to do with the track anymore? It was always on my bucket list to get there someday but now maybe not, Tom

Most of the CJ's are engaged in a festival of sand bagging. I wish the Barton folks were into Fords.

If I saw right the truck went 13.11 the first round 1.54 under!!! And a BB/SA Copo dialed 10.88 on a 10.30 index. Didn't know you could do that?
