Does it have to be a limited production or muscle car? Or more like an odd ball? There's a pacer, a v6 el camino, my 73 Nova is one of only about 3 raced in the Stock ranks, then you got a 73 or 74 GTO, some other rare stuff. I enjoy them all. There was a guy running a yellow 77 Cadillac for a while too. That was pretty unique

Yeah Rob you have I think 1 of 2 73 Hatchback cars racing and from what I can tell I have the only "74" Nova NON hatchback car racing. Does that classify as rare lol

Oldsmobile Won 13 Consecutive MFG Championships in NHRA in early 80s to mid 90s. Also 11 Consecutive Car Craft All Star MFG of the year.

I happened upon this thread again and was curious about the pedigree of the Line Performance CJ Mustangs. Original R code cars, or no?

I didn't know that any of the no vin Oldsmobiles were flood cars. Learn something new every day.

Interesting, I heard this a few weeks ago BUT don’t know if it’s true ??? I heard the Lyn Johnson mustang was raced by multi d4 champion SE Buchanan ..Does anyone know ??

Yes, it was, I saw at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota with the "Kuntz and Buchanan " lettering on the car shortly after Lyn bought the car, maybe late 1980's, or early 1990's, from what I remember ,it looked like this.
