Drakester,,,,,,
I just knew you'd track me down over here,,,,,,,, What did you use,,,,,,,,,a "WHIP-IT" shot,,,,,,,,,,,like Demi Moore,,,,,,,:D Melvin Yow,,,,,,Lillington, North Carolina Your neck of the woods now,,,, The 65' Coronet was a 4-speed, sponsored by O. B. Hewitt Dodge out of South Carolina. Yes, I stand corrected,,,,,:o Melvin's Hemi Dart was an original 4-Speed (SS/B). Then he went Automatic (SS/BA), and then back to a 4-Speed for the 1970 Pro/Stock Circuit. Re: Original hemi dart information
Paul & Moose,
I'm sure this has been previously posted on this thread. What's the history of Chuck Ostrich's gorgeous BO29? |

Any idea of the origin of the reason this topic was started? Just don't want to see the reason for the beginning get lost in one of the all time best forum topics on the net. |

This is a great thread. I'm not sure if this car was discussed in an earlier posting. This is DeFrank & Cohen's Barracuda. Does anyone know the background of the Barracuda? Is it a BO29 car? Where is it now? The picture was taken sometime in the late 80's at the Finals in Pomona. They also had a '64 Dodge at that event. It looks like Rick Johnson's car.

Thanx for your comment. I appreciate it. Ya, when I started this up a couple years ago looking for the history of my car, I had NO idea what it would have turned into. The wealth of shared info & pictures has been nothing short of outstanding. I look forward to new updates on different cars daily. As far as getting any closer to my cars origin, no, I'm still stuck in the early 80's with the last confirmed owner being Lou Vignonia. I now know for sure which cars it's NOT, so the list of possibilities is getting smaller, but I'm still waiting for that ONE lead that will take me down the correct path to it's original owner. In the meantime, let's keep this thread going, because judging by the number of visits, people aren't getting bored yet. If there's any NEW contributors out there, hey,,,,, any & all pictures & information posted here can only help in the cause, whether it's for my car or for for the general public to view liteweight |
